 SURFACE STUDIO is the world's best and largest RENTAL inventory of HARD surface BACKGROUNDS made specifically for advertising, catalog, cosmetic, editorial, food, jewelry, portrait and product photography. Official HOURS 9 to 5 Monday to Thursday; 9 to 3:30 Friday. Off-hour appointments are easy - please call. Peruse the WEBSITE before coming over. Surfaces are indexed by TYPE or COLOR, all by size, prices are listed. There are SEVERAL PAGES in almost every category. Initial RENTAL usage is five business days. Additional rental days are twenty percent per day of the original weekly rental price. RENTAL is payable in full prior to pick-up - PAYMENT is by cash, check or credit card (Amex, MC, Visa, Discover). We have established ACCOUNTS with many publications - please ask. Our INVENTORY of more than 910 surfaces ranges from 12'' x 18" to 5' x 8'; hundreds of SET PIECES and RISERS; original ART made, owned and copyright cleared by Surface Studio. Joseph Szilva, a fine ARTIST with over twenty years of PROFESSIONAL STYLING experience on commercial photo sets, has made every surface in the studio since he started the business in 1996. The WORKSHEET can help you edit selections. Click on a thumbnail, and go from there. Joseph and Mokus de Barcza, his wife & partner, are always available to answer questions, help navigate the website, and make suggestions as you create your jobs. YOU arrange for the messengers. We provide custom-made moving blankets and wrapping. FREIGHT elevator is closed from 12 to 1PM. Though we all prefer to avoid this, REPAIR FEES are charged when we must go beyond usual cleaning and maintenance. Replacement value for DAMAGES beyond repair is assessed on a case by case basis.
