WORLD'S BEST, LARGEST INVENTORY OF REAL SURFACE BACKGROUNDS Surface Studio's inventory consists of hard-surface backgrounds, in sizes from 2' x 2' to 5' x 8'. Smaller scaled set pieces are beautifully made and suited for jewelry, cosmetics, shoes and commercial product shots as well as artistic styling. Since its inception in 1996, Surface Studio has become the most extensive - over 500 surfaces plus many set pieces - and comprehensive resource for photographers, stylists, and editors who are looking for beautiful, one-of-a-kind, hand-made, hard-surface backgrounds and still life set pieces. All surfaces were created specifically for use in close-up still life and jewelry photography; soft goods lay-downs; product advertising; and backdrops for portraiture. Joseph Szilva is an artist who brings years of experience working on professional photo sets to creating his backgrounds. Rental prices on backgrounds are $35 to $400, depending on size and type. Rental prices on set pieces are $10 to $100, depending on size and type. RENTAL PERIOD IS FIVE BUSINESS DAYS. Additional rental days are pro-rated at twenty percent per day of the original weekly rental price. Rental fee must be paid in full prior to pick-up. Payment is by cash or credit card (Amex, MC, Visa) We provide custom-made moving blankets and wrapping. You arrange for the messengers. |
